Personal Wildlife Watching Experiences on The Isle of Mull
Wildlife on Morvern is as good as it gets on Scotland’s West Coast. The variety of birdlife alone is enough to keep the keenest photographer busy for the day but the area is also home to the Eurasian Otter, Red Deer, Red Squirrel, Wildcat, Atlantic Seals and Porpoise to name just a selection – and of course the odd Highland Coo!
If you are a wildlife lover looking for a wonderful and wild day out then we highly recommend booking a tour with Pete at Mull Wildlife Tours to be in for the best chance of sighting a variety of species.
Mull Wildlife Tours offer a bespoke and personalised experience taking small groups on a full day’s wildlife adventure. Pete, your guide for the day, has lived on Mull for 25 years and his local expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm for wildlife led to Mull Wildlife Tours achieving Tripadvisor’s Travellers Choice 2023 Award; so you can relax in the knowledge that you are in for a top quality day out amongst Mull’s spectacular scenery. On a typical day Pete expects to find White-tailed Sea Eagles, Red Deer, Otters and Seals; of course wildlife doesn’t always manage itself around human schedules!
After a short crossing on the Lochaline Ferry, you will be collected at Fishnish pier at 10am, returning around 5pm to make the crossing back onto the mainland. A packed lunch, snacks and hot drinks are included in the cost of the day. Pete also has high quality binoculars for those who don’t have their own.
Tours are extremely popular and we recommend making your enquiry in plenty of time before your holiday to avoid disappointment.
