Getting to Ardtornish

By Road (Postcode – PA80 5UX)

From north or south, head towards Fort William and take the Corran Ferry (PH33 6SE) across Loch Linnhe, which is located 8 miles South of Fort William. The Ferry takes 5 minutes and runs from 6:30am to 9:30pm. The ferry operates on a turn up and go basis, no pre-booking is required.

Please check the status of the ferry before you travel. In the unlikely event that the Ferry is not running, usually due to adverse weather conditions, you can drive around Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil via Fort William and Ardgour (PH33 7AA). It is a beautiful drive but be aware that the diversion does add at least 1 hour on to the journey.

As you drive off the Corran Ferry onto the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, turn left onto the A861 and continue for 12.5 miles. Turn left onto the A884 at the head of Loch Sunart,

signposted for Lochaline and the Mull Ferry. Continue on this road for 15.7 miles. Shortly after you pass the small settlement of Larachbeg, you will see the turning for Ardtornish which is clearly signposted on your left.
