Spacious Victorian living, ideal for large get togethers
Achranich was once home to the Factor of Ardtornish; the man responsible for the management of the Estate on behalf of the landlord. It was an important and influential role and the grandeur of the house certainly reflects his status at Ardtornish.
Situated at the heart of Ardtornish, Achranich has spacious rooms and a huge expanse of gardens next to the River Rannoch, with access over Achranich bridge into Ardtornish House Gardens.
With walks in every direction, Achranich is a great choice for hiking parties, family gatherings and friendship group getaways.
The ground floor contains a large sitting room with a wood burning stove, a dining room seating twelve that features an open fire and a good size kitchen equipped with two large fridge freezers, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Muddy boots and paws are not a problem as there is also a large drying room.
The first floor boasts five bedrooms; two double & three twins. These are serviced by a bathroom and separate shower room, both with WC’s.
The Annex
By opening a connecting door, Achranich can be expanded to take in the annex.
The annex sleeps an additional eight people in three further bedrooms: one double room, one twin-bedded room, and one quad bedroom. There is an extra bathroom and WC.
The sitting room features a flat screen TV with Freesat and a DVD player alongside a docking station. A stay in Achranich includes Wi-Fi, linen and a starter pack of kindling and logs. More logs are available to purchase from the Farm Shop.
Dogs are welcome pets in this property.

Your Memories Of Ardtornish
“Achranich is perfect for a group holiday. It’s comfortable and extremely well-equipped, with a great kitchen for cooking and relaxed dining (we didn’t use the formal dining room), a spacious sitting room with wood-burning stove, comfy bedrooms and a drying room which was well-used when returning from wet – but fabulous – walks.”
“I enjoyed the relaxed opportunity to explore the grounds and garden of the big house and also the kitchen garden with productive poly tunnels , massed nasturtiums and the wild borders where I was able to paint uninterrupted.”
