Saturday 16th – Wednesday 20th November 2024

Fill your lungs with Autumn’s crisp air and use the energy of the Highlands to restore your body and mind this Autumn …

As the early evening skies darken, the serene energy of the mountains and lochs will guide us into a space of deep reflection and renewal. This retreat will act as a sanctuary for those looking to honour the year gone by while opening up to the infinite posbilities of the year ahead.

November in the Highlands can be absolutely serene. It’s milder than you would imagine, quiet, the glens emit an energy of particularly profound loneliness and the skies are richly dark – the mountain peaks often have their first dusting of snow.

Autumn is a time to stop for pause before the long exhale of Winter’s breathe and our Naturally Restorative retreat, launching in the transformative season of Autumn, is designed to help guests do just that.

Over four days, Izzy and Clare will blend indoor and outdoor practices, helping you connect with your own energy to revitalise and restore harmony within. Embrace this opportunity to prepare yourseld physically, emotionally and spiritually for whatever comes next.

What to expect from the programme

Izzy and Claire work intuitively, listen on a deep level and respond to the needs of the individuals’ as well as the group. As such, the itinerary will be fluid and open to change, but you can read about all of the activities that will be covered in an example of the itinerary here . . .

Whats on the Menu?

Nourishment is an integral part of the retreat experience. We will provide delicious, vegetarian cuisine using locally sourced products. The culinary journey will start with a welcome supper on arrival day and includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the duration, with your last meal being breakfast on Wednesday.

This all sounds great, but I’ve never done Yoga, or meditated, before?

The retreat is designed for everybody. Yes, we aim to restore the body and mind but mostly it is about enjoyment. You don’t need to be super flexible, ‘a yogi’ or to have even attempted meditation before, never mind immersing yourself in a Scottish river. Each session will be tailored to the group and have everybody’s goals in mind. All activities are voluntary and you will have plenty of time to explore the area by yourself.
