Take one Clumber Spaniel, a dotty Tri-Colour Collie named Tam and a rather wise Patterdale Cross Terrier aka Ozzy and you have a recipe for our next great adventure.

Before we take you on our Autumn outing, we really must visit the season that brought most of our canine companions to stay, Summer. We have shook many a familiar paw as well as some new, others just passing through whilst most stayed with us for a while.

A welcomed part of holidaying hounds is the extra attention we attract. Endless hours of patting, stroking and of course the delectable array of treats passed our way, it really is a dog’s life. It is a well-known fact in the doggy world that no two human pockets are alike and you can never be sure of the delights that they will produce.

Let’s get on our way, today we went on a walk to explore the deserted township of Aoineadh Mor. https://www.ardtornish.co.uk/walking/

Tam, Ozzy and I sped off in the direction of James’ path, a steep climb through mostly pine plantation with the odd marshy bog for us to cool off in, much to the annoyance of the humans!        A rewarding rest at the top with breath-taking views over Loch Doire Nam Mart and of course our favourite part, a picnic, complete with Bonio’s all round.

A race downhill with Mary’s path firmly in our sight before the promise of a swim (bath) in Loch Arienas.

With tired paws all round, we retire home for the warmth and comfort of our fireside beds and to dream of our next adventure…….
